Raleigh Bermuda’s Venturers Scholarship Opens
The Raleigh Bermuda Venturers’ Scholarship Programme is now accepting applications for youth ages 17–24, with the program including local training and an overseas expedition to destinations like Costa Rica, Kenya, South Africa, or Borneo.
A spokesperson said, “Attention parents and young Bermudians: The Raleigh Bermuda Venturers’ Scholarship Programme is now accepting applications for youth ages 17–24.
“This transformative programme provides up to $15,000 in value, including local training and an unforgettable overseas expedition to destinations like Costa Rica, Kenya, South Africa, or Borneo.
“Participants will engage in impactful community projects, environmental sustainability, and take part in thrilling adventures that challenge and inspire personal growth.
“Raleigh Bermuda’s Programmes has proven their platform equips young Bermudians with essential life skills that helps to combat challenges such as low self-esteem, lack of motivation, and societal pressures. Upon acceptance into the scholarship programme, participants must complete their local training camps to be eligible for the overseas component.
“According to research, students who engage in travel and cultural immersion experiences are 78% more likely to achieve their career goals, with 85% reporting an increase in confidence and communication skills. Raleigh provides that edge by combining survival training, individualized coaching, and transformative expeditions that push youth beyond their limits.
“Upon the return from overseas expedition, participants receive hands-on training in financial management, communication, and emotional resilience—preparing them for both the workplace and life’s challenges.
