BASA Winter Short Course Series Continues
The Bermuda Amateur Swimming Association hosted their Second Winter Short Course Series Meet at the BASA Pool.
Jorgia White won the women’s 15 & over 100 SC meter freestyle touching the wall in a time of 1:07.28, Sienna Spurling was second with a time of 1:08.66, and Joy Yammine finished third clocking 1:09.95.
During the men’s 15 & over 100 SC meter freestyle, Nathan Burrill clocked a winning time of 58.42, Jamie MacFarlane was second in 1:01.26, and Joseph Moniz rounded out the podium finishing third clocking 1:01.29.
With a time of 38.72, Sophia Wells won the 13-14 girls 50 SC meter backstroke, Sofia Leclerc was second with a time of 42.23, and Keira Kearns finished third clocking 42.32.
Rory Shepherd won the 13-14 boys 50 SC meter backstroke clocking a personal best time of 30.97, Jasper Lau was second in 36.94, and Benjamin Troskie finished third clocking 39.27.
