Devonshire Cougars Secure Semi-Final Spot
A place in the FA Challenge Cup Semi-Finals was at stake as Devonshire Cougars and Young Men Social Club clashed at the Devonshire Recreation Club field.
It was the Devonshire Cougars who emerged victorious, scoring two late goals to secure a 3-1 win. Demetre Daniels gave the Cougars an early lead in the 10th minute, a lead they held until half-time.
Young Men Social Club fought back and equalized in the 69th minute through Pierre Smith. However, the Cougars responded strongly. Kamali Davis restored their lead in the 80th minute, and then Christian Albouy sealed the win in the 90th minute, converting from the penalty spot to send the Devonshire Cougars into the next round.
