FEI Jumping World Challenge 2nd Competition
The second competition of the 2025 FEI Jumping World Challenge took place at Bermuda’s National Equestrian Centre on Saturday [Feb 15].
A spokesperson said, “Both jumping courses were designed by FEI Level 4 Judge Marina Azevedo of Brazil, FEI Level 3 Judges Cristina Larangeiro of Portugal as well as Erica Sportiello of Brazil
“Claiming the top spot in the 1.20 – 1.30m division was Jaylynn Hines riding her athletic horse Toto D’ysenbeeck 2. This team incurred a combined score of 8 faults over the two rounds of jumping in a speed 58.86 seconds in the second round of jumping. Abby Bardgett on board Causing Chaos placed second with time of 63.83 seconds in the latter round.
“In the 1.10 – 1.20m category first place was awarded to Abby Bardgett riding Cruise Control with a combined score of 8 faults and a time of 55.68 seconds in the second round.
“In the 1.00 – 1.10m division, Abby Bardgett and her mount Up Up & Away were victorious with double clear rounds in an impressive time of 55.21 in the second round. Placing second was Kamali Tucker riding Tugano Van Klupscheut with two clear rounds and a time of 64.27 seconds. Third place went to Michael Rodrigues riding Rambo whilst 4th place was awarded to Georgia Hughes riding. Casichacco.
“Judging today’s Competition 2 was Bermuda’s FEI Level 1 Judge Pamela Mahone. The third and final round of the 2025 FEI Jumping World Challenge is scheduled to take place at Bermuda’s National Equestrian Center on Saturday 22nd March 2025.”
