Multiple Vehicle Collision In Paget
Yesterday [Feb 18], a multiple vehicle collision involving three motorcars occurred near the junction of South Road and Middle Road in Paget.
A police spokesperson said, “Around 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday, February 18, police attended a multiple vehicle road traffic collision involving three motorcars near the junction of South Road and Middle Road, Paget.
“Two vehicles, travelling west on South Road, came to a stop at the Paget traffic lights. The third vehicle was travelling east when the driver lost control of the motorcar and collided with one of the other cars, pushing it back onto the car behind it.
“There were no serious injuries reported.
“The collision resulted in moderate disruption to the flow of traffic, with diversions put in place until the scene was cleared shortly before 5:00 p.m.
“The Bermuda Police Service thanks the public for their patience and cooperation while the scene was being processed.”

You will continue find the Bermuda public nagging the Government to do someing about the road trafic death toll which is mounting, all over the island ..
Does that not mean any thing to you.
Paget trafic lights with lost of power is doomed to failure and cost Bermuda millions in lost time with trafic delay on a major bottle neck and money twice a day .

The general poor lay out of the roads “T” street north is another major accident area waiting to happen ,if not already .
??? The double coner down by the Church and Marsh two busse can not pass or a car and a bus can not pass,being the responsibility of W&E road engineer what are we paying him for?

The roads have not kept up with modern times ashphat is only part of the problem . our rpad plan is some what archaic the only change seen was when the US bases were here 85 years ago do I need to remind the. Gov of the road side land grab of 30 years ago with more to come for visual and road widening .
do we have any money for that. I though not ?
