Cann Shines In 800m At Darius Dixon Invitational
Shayla Cann produced a strong performance for Elon University women’s track and field at the 2025 Darius Dixon Memorial invitational, held at the Liberty-Indoor Track Complex in Lynchburg, Virginia.
Cann competed in the women’s 800m run invite, demonstrating her strength and speed by winning heat 2. Her impressive time of 2:11.82 secured her a fifth-place finish overall in the event.
Cann also contributed to Elon University’s 4x400m relay team, running the anchor leg. The team finished 11th with a time of 3:53.32.
