Boxing Development League At Whitney
The Bermuda Boxing Federation [BBF] is set to host its first Development League tournament of the year at Whitney Institute on March 29.
The event will run from noon to 4 pm and feature an exciting line-up of sanctioned fights, open sparring sessions, and elite, youth, and junior masters’ competitions.
General admission is $15, while children can attend for free.
Nathan Dill, president of the BBF, told Bernews: “Boxing doesn’t have a defined season, but this will be the first of several events this year.
“We’re planning at least one more development series and an international event between Bermuda and the United States [fighters] in early June.”
Dill added that the BBF also plans to send adult fighters to a tournament in Canada in July and youth boxers to the Schoolboy Championships in Guyana August.
