Bermudian Archers Impressing In Vegas

Four Bermudian archers have been impressing at the Las Vegas Shoot on the Las Vegas strip.

Jaydon Roberts, Camerin Pickering, Robert O’Conner and Robin Selley are representing the island at the final event of the indoor season.

The five-day competition is the largest and most prestigious indoor archery competition in the world, with more than 5,000 competitors ranging from beginner to Olympic champions participating.

The event is held at three adjacent Vegas venues – the Paris and Horseshoe casinos, and the Planet Hollywood resort.

Selley, competing in the Recurve Young Adult Female Division, is fifth after shooting 285/300 in the first round.

Competing in the Recurve Flights Division, Roberts scored 282 and sit in nineteenth place after the opening round.

Pickering shot 279, securing 34th place; meanwhile, O’Connor fired a score of 214 to leave him in 337th position.
