Mountain Bike Championships Set For March 30
The Bermuda National Mountain Bike Cross Country Championships will be held on March 30 at Southlands Park in Warwick, hosted by Fattire Massive.
A spokesperson said, “Bermuda’s top mountain bikers will take to the trails at Southlands Park in Warwick on Saturday, March 30th, as the Bermuda National Mountain Bike Cross Country Championships bring the 2024–25 One Communications Mountain Bike Series, hosted by Fattire Massive, to a thrilling close.
“Returning to the island to compete are reigning champions Gabby Arnold, Robin Horsfield, and Conor White, each looking to defend their national titles against a field of fit and seasoned local riders.
“The Championships are proudly sponsored by long-time cycling supporter Winners Edge and are also supported by Buzz.
“This year’s event will feature both championship and non-championship categories, ensuring there’s something for every age and ability. Participants will race on a specially prepared course through Southlands, with a modified, shorter course available for youth in the non-championship events.

“Championship races will take place on the full course. Junior non-championship events will be held on a shorter version of the course. A course map will be available to participants by March 16.
“Estimated race durations range from 30 to 65 minutes, depending on category. Participants are reminded that due to Bermuda Government regulations on group sizes, minor adjustments to start times may be made. Any changes will be communicated in advance of race day.

“This is a pre-entry only event.
- Registration closes: Friday, March 28 at 6:00PM
- No day-of registration will be accepted
- All participants must be current members of the Bermuda Bicycle Association

“Masters category riders may choose to race in either the Masters or Open division.
