OUTBermuda To Host ‘Teatime At Treehouse’
OUTBermuda invites LGBTQ+ community members and allies to Teatime at Treehouse on March 16 for connection, discussion, and the Bermuda Pride 2025 theme reveal.
A spokesperson said, “OUTBermuda, the island’s only LGBTQ+ charity and the organizers of Bermuda Pride, is inviting LGBTQ+ community members and allies to join them for Teatime at Treehouse, an afternoon tea and community gathering, on Sunday, March 16 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Treehouse, 12 Trott Lane, Hamilton.
“The event will feature warm drinks, sweet treats, and board games, along with a chance to connect with OUTBermuda’s directors and staff and to learn more about the charity’s ongoing work to support and uplift Bermuda’s LGBTQ+ community.
“Among the topics on the agenda is OUTBermuda’s recently released Policy Manifesto, which outlines a series of legal, educational, and healthcare reforms aimed at creating a safer and more equitable Bermuda for LGBTQ+ people.”
Joshua Samuels, Executive Director of OUTBermuda, shared, “OUTBermuda’s core mission is to improve the safety and wellbeing of our local LGBTQ+ community. In order to do that effectively, we need to hear directly from the people we serve. This gathering is an opportunity for community members to engage with us, ask questions, and learn how they can get involved in creating meaningful change.”
The spokesperson said, “In addition to discussing the Policy Manifesto, OUTBermuda will officially announce the theme for Bermuda Pride 2025, setting the tone for the year’s events and community engagement. Attendees will also have the chance to explore ways to participate in Pride and contribute to its ongoing success.
“All LGBTQ+ individuals and allies are warmly invited to attend.
“Those interested in joining are encouraged to RSVP at www.OUTBermuda.org/tea.”
