Police Investigate ‘Suspicious Activity’ Incident
Police have launched an investigation following a “report of suspicious activity outside a private residence” in Spanish Point, with the occupants hearing a strange noise outside a window, then observing two individuals running out of the driveway and “two rounds of suspected live ammunition” being recovered at the scene.
A police spokesperson said, “Around 10:20 p.m. on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, police received a report of suspicious activity outside a private residence in the Spanish Point Road area of Pembroke Parish.
“Upon arrival, officers spoke with occupants who reported hearing a strange noise outside a bedroom window and upon going out to determine the source, observed two individuals wearing dark coloured clothing and black helmets, running out of the driveway.
“An area search was conducted by officers and two rounds of suspected live ammunition were recovered at the scene. An investigation into this incident is now underway.
“Police are appealing for anyone with information, particularly residents of Spanish Point Road, who have Ring cameras or other CCTV devices, to please check them for recordings of any suspicious activity or individuals fitting the descriptions of the suspects to please contact the Serious Crime Unit at 247-1739.
