Special Olympics To Host Polar Plunge

The Special Olympics Bermuda will host its Polar Plunge fundraiser at Shelly Bay Beach on Saturday [March 8].

Participants are encouraged to take to the waters and “embrace the chill and dress up in your best costume for a splash-tastic day of fun and fundraising!”

The event, which runs from 10am to noon, will feature a DJ, bake sale, and giveaways.

There will be prizes for Best Costume: adult male and female, student male and female, and best overall.

Registration is $30 adults, and $20 students [18 and under].

Donations and pledges can be made until March 15
