Blake Montgomery Helps Knights Beat Otters
Ice hockey player Blake Montgomery helped the London Knights defeat the Erie Otters 6-3 at home in Game One of the Western Conference semi-finals on Thursday [April 10].
Montgomery has been in fine form since joining the Knights on an OHL Scholarship and Development Agreement in November last year.
Drafted by National Hockey League [NHL] team the Ottawa Senators in June last year, Montgomery spent the previous two seasons with the Lincoln Stars of the USHL.
The Knights finished top of the Western Conference, having won 55 of their 66 matches.
They face the Otters in Game Two today.
