April 30: Deadline For Cost Of Living Survey
The Ministry of Home Affairs is “reminding the community that the April 30th deadline to complete the Cost of Living Public Survey is fast approaching.”
A Government spokesperson said, “Launched earlier this month, the public survey covers a range of topics, from utilities, to food, to housing and more. The aim is to understand through a set of very pointed questions, how the cost of living has impacted the people of Bermuda.
“The survey takes less than 10 minutes and can be found by visiting www.costofliving.gov.bm, and residents are encouraged to share their input.”
“As the Minister of Home Affairs, the Hon. Alexa Lightbourne shared in Parliament last month, the Ministry will host a Cost of Limit Summit, in which the data gathered from both the Public and Business Surveys will be used to inform the discussion around lowering the cost of living in Bermuda. Reducing the cost of living in Bermuda will take a collaborative effort and community commitment, so the Ministry is encouraging all residents in Bermuda to visit the link provided and have their say.”
The spokesperson said, “As previously noted, while there is a Public Survey for completion, there is also a survey specifically designed to understand how cost of living has also impacted the business community, whether they be small or large, private or third sector.”
