Logan Jiménez Presented With Scotland Cap
Logan Jiménez has received his Scottish Schools’ Football Association Under-18 international cap at Hampden Park in Glasgow.
Jiménez played for Scottish Schools Under-18 in their recent home matches against English Schools’ Under-18, which the Scots won 6-2, and a 1-1 against Australia School Under-18.
Reflecting on the honour, Jiménez told Bernews.“I was an amazing experience to visit the stadium in person and receive my cap.
“It’s been a great season for me so far. I’ve been determined and never given up.”
The Bermudian, who recently signed his first professional contract with Hibernian, has been in fine form for the Edinburgh club’s under-18 side this season.
They lead the Club Academy Scotland Elite Under-18 league with five games remaining.
Hibernian Under-18 face second-place Rangers on Friday [April 25].
Jiménez captained the Bermuda Under-17 national team in their recent Concacaf Men’s Under-17 Qualifiers on home soil, scoring in a 3-1 win over Anguilla.
