Bermuda Sailors Conclude Regatta In Slovenia
The Sailing Point Easter Regatta concluded its final day in Slovenia with 467 sailors from 63 nations completing the prestigious youth event, including a contingent representing Bermuda.
Thomas McBain, competing in the gold fleet, finished the final race in 32nd place. This result moved him up 12 places from his overnight standing, concluding the regatta in 46th overall with 228.5 net points.
Bermuda demonstrated a strong presence in the emerald fleet. Heath Myers finished second in the group, securing an overall finish with 201 net points. Benjamin De Couto also achieved a strong result, finishing 11th in the emerald fleet with 283 net points. Walker Smith concluded his participation in 30th place within the emerald fleet with 374 net points, while Sean Pedro finished in 47th place with 435 net points.
In the silver fleet, Harry Brown finished the regatta in 37th place with 267.5 net points, and Jesse Savage concluded in 63rd position with 323 net points.
Rex Henagulph, competing in the bronze fleet, finished his final race to end the regatta in 37th place with 316 net points. Emma Brown concluded her participation in 45th place with 339 net points, and Miguel Leite finished in 62nd place with 396 net points.
