Eckerd Team Places Second At Sailpack
Eckerd Open Sailing team, featuring Jordan Vieira and Paul Rodrigues Jr., secured a strong second-place finish at the Sailpack Oriental Intercollegiate over the weekend.
Vieira and Tia Soultanakis led the A division with 38 points, securing a third-place finish in their division. They began the event with a runner-up finish in the first race and followed it up with a victory in the third race. The pair added two more top-five finishes, showcasing their consistency.
Rodrigues Jr. and Avery Guck posted 34 points in the B division, also finishing third in their division. They started with a third-place finish and secured a victory in race no. 2. The duo then added four more top-three finishes, contributing significantly to the team’s overall score.
