Comet Class Dominates Inter Club Series
The Bermuda Comet Class recorded five race results on the second day of the Inter Club Winter Series 2026 at the Royal Hamilton Amateur Dinghy Club, competing in the RS21 fleet after missing the opening day.
Allan Frith, Dale Brangman, Greg Wade and Sarah Frith won the first two races of the day. Maxwell Curtis replaced Brangman for races three and four, where the team finished third and second. Brangman returned for the fifth race, which the team won.
The Comet Class finished the day with five net points. David Leech, representing the Royal Hamilton Amateur Dinghy Club, won races three and four and finished second overall on the day with seven net points. Miguel Power, sailing for the Sandys Boat Club, placed third on the day with 11 net points.
After 10 races overall, Power leads the series standings with 20 net points. Sebastian Round of the Royal Hamilton Amateur Dinghy Club is second with 21 net points. Curtis is third overall with 32 net points.
