Acting Premier Welcomes Kiwanis Governor
Acting Premier Zane DeSilva welcomed Kristin Holden, Governor of the Kiwanis New England and Bermuda District, during a courtesy visit at the Cabinet Office.
A Government spokesperson said, “Joining the meeting were distinguished Kiwanis representatives, including First Gentleman Chris Holden, Patricia Swan [Lieutenant Governor, Bermuda Region], Leleath Bailey [Secretary, New England and Bermuda District Council], David Burgess [President, Kiwanis Club of St. George’s], Lionel Swan [President, Kiwanis Club of Hamilton], and Altama Burgess [Lieutenant Governor, Kiwanis Club of St. George’s].
“As is tradition, local Kiwanis leaders introduced the District Governor during her visit to Bermuda, marking an occasion to highlight the organization’s ongoing charitable contributions and strong presence within the community.
“The Acting Premier acknowledged Kiwanis’ dedication to service, expressing appreciation for its efforts in enriching lives across the island.”
