Bermuda Defeat Panama 1-0 In CAC Qualifier
Bermuda’s men’s national field hockey team achieved their first victory of the Central American and Caribbean [CAC] Games Qualifying Tournament in Mexico, defeating Panama 1-0 in their final Group match.
The first period concluded without any scoring, Bermuda broke the deadlock in the 21st minute of the second period when Donovan Simmons scored the decisive goal.
Bermuda maintained their 1-0 lead into halftime. The competitive nature of the match continued through the third and fourth periods.
Panama pressed for an equalizing goal, while Bermuda sought to increase their advantage. However, both goalkeepers maintained a strong defense, preventing any further goals.
