“Bermuda will compete in Tier I, which consists of eight teams divided into two groups of four. Bermuda is placed in Group A alongside Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, and Martinique. The Tier I group stage will follow a round-robin format.
“At the conclusion of the group stage, the group winners and runners-up will progress to the semifinals, leading to the Tier I finals scheduled for August 24, 2024. Teams finishing in third place will play a playoff match for 5th and 6th place, while fourth-place finishers will compete for 7th and 8th place rankings.
“Action in Tier I is set to kick off on August 16.
“The CFU U-14 Challenge Series, introduced in 2018, is a developmental competition that alternates between boys and girls each year. It serves as an introduction to international competition for young players, aligning with the CFU’s developmental agenda and FIFA’s focus on grassroots football in the region. The series also plays a crucial role in the CFU’s Next Generation Referee Course, providing regional match officials with the necessary skills for advancement to the FIFA International Refereeing Lists.
“Further details regarding the official schedule will be confirmed at a later stage.”
