Community Candlelight Vigil Set For Tomorrow
Following the tragic murders of 32-year-old Jasmine Smith and 29-year-old Shaquan Williams, a candlelight vigil will be held in Sandys tomorrow evening [May 8] “honouring victims and families affected by gun violence.”
The event poster says, “21 Simmons Place invites you to a community candlelight vigil honouring victims and families affected by gun violence in Somerset.
“We come together to mourn the recent tragedy that has shaken our beloved community. Please bring candles, photos, flowers, or any mementos to honor and remember those impacted. Join us as we pay tribute, offer support, and work toward a brighter, safer future for all.
“Together, we mourn, remember, and rebuild – your presence matters. Together, we can bring hope, healing, and unity to our community.
