L&F Indemnity Donates $35,000 To WindReach
L&F Indemnity has donated $35,000 and contributed 24 hours of volunteer service to WindReach, continuing a long-standing partnership supporting the charity’s educational and therapeutic programmes.
A spokesperson said, “L&F Indemnity Limited, a Bermuda-based captive insurance company connected to the PwC network, has made a generous donation of $35,000 to support WindReach’s Educational and Therapeutic programmes that benefit individuals with diverse support needs. In addition to this financial contribution, the staff at L&F recently dedicated a total of twenty four hours of community service to WindReach, assisting with essential tasks on their expansive 10-acre site, which includes a woodland reserve.”
L&F’s Chief Executive Officer, Greg Galeaz, said, “Our long-standing partnership reflects L&F’s commitment to the physical and mental well-being of individuals in our community of all ages and abilities. Our team is honored to continue to support the incredible work being done by WindReach through financial sponsorship, and by ‘getting our hands dirty.’”
A representative from WindReach remarked, “We value the support from the L&F Indemnity team! Their philanthropy goes beyond financial contributions, as they have volunteered with us for approximately nine years.
“Their community service has included weekly participation in our Therapeutic Riding Programme, and once a year, the entire team steps away from their office roles to dedicate a day to helping with various tasks around our property. Their exceptional commitment to community partnership encompasses both financial backing and volunteer efforts, which are crucial for charities like ours. We are immensely grateful for their ongoing support.”
How many hard luck stories are out there, none of them are new ..
Over the years ,I have found that charity consists of many reasons to promote sympathy for given or the taking of things.
I wonder if charity causes lazy people to be lazy, after all why work if you don’t have to excepet there is no retirement plan or income / pay roll tax .
To name a few items which are which are are given ,” Time Money and Things” to people presumed to be in need.as there is no excuse for it
The popular one is usually money it is always money, and to my supprise I found my self sitting on a plane next to a person who o thought was in ”aparant need ” that individual was on a buying trip to Atlanta.
Women are often targeted by the street beggers /thieves .
Ladies, best to be in the company of another or just keep walking do not stop, as you are being harrased.
Street walkers ask for Coffee money. i did not know that coffee came in a green bottle.
The other popular money tricks are ” Dead Loans ” which will never be rerepaid, it is always next week !, HOWEVER next week never comes ,if they need a loan they dont have any money or never did to repay the loan.
In London England and in many other cities all over ,there are to street people who make more money than a bank executive.
