Kaden Hopkins Places 38th In New York
Kaden Hopkins showcased his talents in the 2nd Annual Gran Premio New York City, a UCI 1.2 Men’s Elite professional race.
The race featured a unique twist, beginning just ten minutes ahead of the 13th Michelob ULTRA Gran Fondo New York World Championship – a mass-participation ride over the same 137-kilometre [85-mile] course spanning Bergen County, New Jersey, and Rockland County, New York.
The demanding route challenged riders with 2,000 metres [6,500ft] of elevation gain.
Representing the Puerto Rico Prestige Cycling Foundation Team, Hopkins crossed the finish line in 38th place, recording a time of 3hr 13min 36sec.
Sean Christian emerged as the winner, completing the course in 3:05:49.
