Tashae Thompson No Longer With The BTA
The BTA has confirmed that Tashae Thompson “is no longer with the Bermuda Tourism Authority.”
A spokesperson said, “We can confirm that Tashae Thompson is no longer with the Bermuda Tourism Authority. Ms Thompson joined the organisation in 2014 and made valued contributions during her tenure. We are grateful for the contributions she made during her time with the BTA and wish her all the best in her future endeavours.
“As this is a personnel matter, we will not be providing further comment.”
That’s so unfortunate. I’ve worked with her a few times and it has always been such a great experience. Where ever she goes next I’m sure she will do well!

Bermuda has truly lost a tourism gem! Ms. Thompson was so passionate and hardworking. A brilliant mind our tourism industry needs is gone. I wish her al the best!
Why did such a talented Bermudian leave? I hope she wasn’t forced out by the green “shady” PLP as they seem to be allergic to smart, intelligent woman who want to do the right thing.
PLP hates Tourism so I wouldn’t be surprised she was fed up with corrupt politics of this country.
BTA has no idea of the tremendous loss they have bestowed upon this island. Ms. Thompson was truly one of Bermuda’s greatest assets within the tourism industry and more! She pushed boundaries to change mindsets from having antiquated ideas into visionary thinking and revolutionary action. She brought so much passion to her work and truly wanted to help turn Bermuda’s tourism industry around. But don’t worry Ms. Thompson… greater things await you. One day us Bermudians will see our own costly ignorance and look back and finally acknowledge your incredible worth!
