Bermuda Drawn In Group B For World Qualifiers
The Bermuda Football Association [BFA] announced the results of the Concacaf World Cup Qualifiers Final Round draw, with Bermuda in Group B, alongside Jamaica, Curaçao, and Trinidad and Tobago.
A spokesperson said, “The Final Round of the Concacaf Qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup will feature 12 national teams divided into three groups of four. These teams will compete in home-and- away round-robin play during the FIFA international windows of September, October, and November 2025.
“Bermuda’s schedule for the Final Round group stage is as follows:
Matchday 1 [September 2025]
- Bermuda vs. Jamaica [home]
Matchday 2 [September 2025]
- Curaçao vs. Bermuda [away]
Matchday 3 [October 2025]
- Bermuda vs. Trinidad & Tobago [home]
Matchday 4 [October 2025]
- Jamaica vs. Bermuda [away]
Matchday 5 [November 2025]
- Bermuda vs. Curaçao [home]
Matchday 6 [November 2025]
- Trinidad & Tobago vs. Bermuda [away]
“At the conclusion of group play, the three group winners will secure direct qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, joining co-hosts Canada, Mexico, and the United States. Additionally, the two best second-place finishers across all groups will advance to a FIFA Intercontinental Play-Off, scheduled for March 2026. This new format offers Concacaf the potential to have a record eight teams represented at the upcoming FIFA World Cup.
“The BFA will announce venues and exact kick-off times for all home and away matches at a later date. Further updates on the team’s preparations will be provided as the September match window approaches.”
