Inline Ball Hockey: Presidents Defeat Ducks
The Bermuda Inline Ball Hockey League season continued at the PCC Hockey Rink, with the Hyannisport Presidents claiming a 4-3 victory over the Long Island Ducks.
The Presidents started strongly, establishing a 2-0 lead in the first period with goals from Eric Walker and Alex Larouche. However, the Long Island Ducks fought back fiercely in the second period, with Jake Fenske and Adam Mattatal finding the net to level the score at 2-2.
The goal-fest in the second period wasn’t over. Walker netted his second of the game to restore the Presidents’ lead, only for Bruce Sinclair to immediately pull the Ducks level once more, making it 3-3.
As time wound down in the period, it was Larouche who emerged as the hero for the Hyannisport Presidents, scoring his second goal of the match to give his side a crucial 4-3 advantage.
