Police Treating Death As ‘Suspicious’

Following an autopsy, the Bermuda Police Service has confirmed it is treating the death of Norman Bell as “suspicious.”

A police spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm that following an autopsy, it is treating the sudden death of Norman Bell, as suspicious.

“Mr. Bell’s lifeless body was found in the Lodge Point Lane, Sandys Parish area around 10:40 a.m. Monday, June 2, 2025.

“Mr. Bell, also known as ‘Sonny’, was last seen alive on Sunday, 1st June 2025. Members of the public who saw or who may have information concerning his whereabouts that day, are encouraged to come forward at the earliest opportunity.

“Anyone who can assist is asked to call Detective Sergeant Shannon Trott of the Serious Crimes Unit on 717-2152, 247-1739, or e-mail strott@bps.bm.
