Logan Jiménez Plays In Hibernian Friendly
Bermudian footballer Logan Jiménez played for Hibernian’s senior team in their opening pre-season friendly match today [July 2] – a goalless draw with German side MSV Duisburg in the Netherlands.
The striker, who helped the Hibernian Under-18 side claim the Club Academy Scotland Elite Under-18 league title last season, came on as a second-half substitute against the third-tier German side.
Hibernian, who play in the Scottish Premiership side, face Dutch giants Ajax in another behind-closed-doors friendly on Saturday.
Jiménez recently signed his first professional contract with the Edinburgh side.
The Bermuda Under-17 captain played for Scottish Schools’ Under-18 in their home matches against English Schools’ Under-18 and Australia Schools Under-18 last term.
