Single Vehicle Collision In Paget
A single-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle occurred on Harbour Road in Paget, near Newstead Hotel.
A police spokesperson said, “Around 11:40pm on Tuesday July 29th Police and other first responders were dispatched to the scene of a serious single-vehicle collision on Harbour Road in Paget, near Newstead Hotel.
“Initial information indicates that a woman riding a motorcycle lost control and came into contact with a wall, resulting in her being thrown over the wall. As a result, she sustained a severe leg injury and has been transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment.
“Traffic diversions are in place, with vehicles being directed through a single-lane system around the scene, while it is being processed by police.
“Motorists are advised to seek alternative routes and expect delays in the area while the scene is processed.
“Anyone who may have witnessed this collision is asked to contact police on 211.”
