Video: Krista Dyer Fights At World Games In China
[Updated with video] Kickboxer Krista Dyer was defeated in the semi-finals of the Sanda competition at the World Games in Chengdu, China, today [August 11].
The Bermudian lost on points to Iranian Seyedehyasaman Bagherzadehvaskas.
Dyer, who represents the Bermuda Sanshou Association, received a bye in the first round of the women’s 70kg division.
She will fight Aly Menaalla, of Egypt, in a bronze medal bout tomorrow.
The Games, which run until August 17, feature 34 sports, 60 disciplines and 256 medal events.
