Bermuda U14 Girls Defeated By Jamaica U14
The Bermuda under-14 girls’ national football team were defeated 1-0 by Jamaica under-14 in their opening match of the Caribbean Football Union [CFU] Challenge Series in Trinidad and Tobago yesterday [August 16].
Competing in Tier One group B, Bermuda fell behind in the 58th minute after a long-range effort from Nycolette Prendergrass took a deflection, beating goalkeeper Kyra Simmons.
Late in the match, Jamaica’s goalkeeper Mikalia Banton was sent off for a second yellow card.
Bermuda face Trinidad and Tobago today.
