Olympian Katura Horton-Perinchief has helped direct a two-week diving programme to help grow the sport in Trinidad and Tobago.

The clinic was held recently at the National Aquatic Centre in Couva, aimed at introducing the sport to coaches and athletes for the first time.

It was hosted by the Aquatics Sports Association of Trinidad and Tobago in collaboration with the TT Olympic Committee and SporTT [a sport company].

The programme was also directed by Virginia-based Diane Maiese and Mexican Olympian Julian Sanchez Gallegos.

Horton-Perinchief has held the Star Diving Summer Camp for local youngsters at the Aquatics Facility, National Sports Centre, each summer since 2014.
