Bermuda To Host ICC T20 Qualifiers In 2026
The Bermuda Cricket Board [BCB] has announced that the island will host Group A of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2028 qualifiers from June 19–28, 2026.
A spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Cricket Board [BCB] is delighted to announce that it has been awarded the hosting rights for the first round of qualifiers [Group A] for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2028. The prestigious tournament will be held in Bermuda from June 19-28, 2026, marking another significant milestone for cricket on the island.
“The qualifiers will bring together five teams from the Americas region in a highly competitive event. In addition to the host nation, Bermuda, the tournament will feature teams from the Bahamas, Belize, Brazil, and Panama.”
BCB President Lloyd Smith stated: “I would like to express my immense pride and excitement regarding the announcement. This is a monumental achievement for the Bermuda Cricket Board and for our entire community.”

The spokesperson said, “The tournament will feature a series of matches at the National Sports Centre, where the teams will compete for a chance to advance to the next stage of the qualification pathway for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2028.
“The BCB will release further details of the match schedule, ticketing, and event logistics in the near future.
