Opposition Leader On Approaching Storms
Opposition Leader and Shadow Minister of National Security Robert King has addressed the approach of Hurricane Humberto and Tropical Storm Imelda, saying “together, we will weather these storms.”
Mr. King said, “With both Hurricane Humberto and Tropical Storm Imelda approaching Bermuda this week, I urge everyone to prioritise safety.
“This is a serious period of weather. Please secure your homes, gather essentials, and – above all – check on our vulnerable neighbours: the elderly, those living alone, and anyone who may need extra support.
“Bermuda’s strength has always been our community. By preparing wisely and looking out for one another, we will come through safely, as we have many times before.
“I encourage everyone to follow the updates and instructions from the Bermuda Weather Service and the Emergency Measures Organisation, and to avoid unnecessary risks near the shoreline and on the roads.
“Together, we will weather these storms.”
So……basically he said nothing. ????
