Gabriella Cecchini Wins 5000M At Frankfort
Bermuda’s Gabriella Cecchini secured a victory in the Women’s 5,000 Meters Varsity race at the 32nd Frankfort Cross Country Invitational.
Representing Mercersburg Academy, Cecchini finished with a time of 19:07.2 on the Frankfort High School Course. Her performance broke her previous course record by 30 seconds.
In the Men’s 5,000 Meters Varsity race, her brother Joseph Cecchini, also competing for Mercersburg Academy, placed ninth with a time of 18:57.1. His finish placed him in the top 10 of a competitive field.
