Donald Treanor Claims Two Medals In Iowa
Local fencer Donald Treanor claimed two medals at the recent Thin Mint Open at the Iowa City Fencing Centre in Iowa.
Treanor won bronze in foil and épée weapons.
“I used this as a warm-up and to test how my recovery from an injury is doing,” Treanor told Bernews.
“I have a regional event coming up in October in Myrtle Beach, where the competition should be stronger as a final preparation for the Veteran World Championships in Bahrain in November.”
