Jamin Hodgkins Kicks Four Conversions

Bermudian rugby union player Jamin Hodgkins kicked four conversions in the Pacific Pride Academy’s 50-22 win away to Trinity Western on Saturday [September 20].

Hodgkins came off the bench to contribute eights points to his side’s win.

The Academy aims to develop young Canadian players and prepare them for professional careers in the game.

They compete in the British Columbia Men’s Premier League, a provincial competition featuring 12 clubs from British Columbia and one from Washington state.

Hodgkins, who is eligible for Canada, represented the Pride last season and has previously played for Luctonians First XV in England and Bridgend and Glamorgan Wanderers in Wales.

The fly-half or fullback currently plays for Halifax Tars, an amateur team in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

He is a former Bermuda Under-19 international and Warwick Academy student.
