Single Vehicle Collision In Warwick
[Updated] A single-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle occurred just east of Khyber Pass in Warwick.
The Bermuda Police Service said, “There has been a serious single road traffic collision involving a motorcycle, just east of Khyber Pass, Warwick. Details are limited at this time.
“However, it is understood, the male motorcycle rider was in and out of consciousness. He has been transported by ambulance to the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment of his injuries, the extent of which is currently unknown.
“The collision scene is now closed off to vehicular traffic while it is forensically processed.
“Traffic diversions are in place with westbound traffic being diverted along Longford Road. Traffic traveling east is being diverted along Khyber Pass.”
Update: A police spokesperson said, “Around 3:15 p.m. on Sunday, September 7, 2025, Police and Emergency Medical Services personnel, attended a reported single vehicle road traffic collision involving a motorcycle, on Middle Road, Warwick, near the junction with Tribe Road Number 6.
“It was reported that the motorcycle rider, a 52-year-old male, was in and out of consciousness having sustained possible head as well as facial injuries.
“He was attended to at the scene and transported by ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital. At last check he continued to receive treatment for his injuries which are considered serious, but non-life-threatening.
“Traffic diversions were put in place for approximately three hours, while the collision scene was processed by forensic staff and collision investigators.
“We wish to thank the public for their patience and cooperation during this exercise.
