Simply Bloom To Host Mental Health Workshop
Simply Bloom will mark World Mental Health Day with a pop-up workshop, “Let’s Talk: Supporting Children & Teens’ Mental Health,” on Tuesday, October 7, at Ignite Co-Lab in Hamilton.
A spokesperson said, “In recognition of World Mental Health Day, Simply Bloom will be hosting a pop-up workshop entitled ‘Let’s Talk: Supporting Children & Teens’ Mental Health’ on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Ignite Co-Lab, 5th Floor of the Argus Building, 14 Wesley Street, Hamilton.
“The evening will be led by child and adolescent mental health specialist Chardonaé Rawlins. Designed in a relaxed “Chat & Chew” style, the session will combine open conversation with hands-on, activity-based learning to make the experience both practical and engaging. Attendees will also enjoy light bites while connecting with others in the community.”
Ms. Rawlins shared, “This event is about giving parents, caregivers, and educators the chance to pause, learn, and connect. Mental health can feel like a heavy topic, but when we come together in community, it becomes less intimidating and more empowering. My goal is for people to walk away with practical tools, but also with hope, confidence, and the reassurance that they’re not alone in this journey.”
The spokesperson said, “The workshop will cover how to recognize early signs of emotional distress, strengthen resilience, and encourage open, supportive conversations with children and teens.
“Spaces are limited to just 25 participants to keep the atmosphere intimate and interactive. “Tickets are $20 and can be purchased directly from BDAtix.”
“I truly believe the wellbeing of our young people starts with the adults who care for them,” Ms Rawlins added. “I encourage anyone interested to secure their spot early and be part of this important conversation.”
