Netball Team For Battle Of Isles Named
Netball Bermuda announced the Bermuda Longtails Senior Women’s National Team selected for the Battle of the Isles tournament, which will be held in St. Eustatius and St. Maarten from October 21st – 26th, 2025.
A spokesperson said, “This tournament is momentous to get Bermuda back into the World Rankings as our last official ranking was in 2020 coming in at 35th, with our highest-ranking achievement being 28th in 2017. This will be the first for our Senior Women’s Team since 2017 where Bermuda competed in the International Match Series held in the USA and the Netball Europe Open held in Scotland, of which only three players in Demiqua Daniels, InShan-nae Smith and Jahtuere Trott have received another called up.
“Former U21 Players Debré Evans, Sèlah Tuzo, Zakiyah Durham and Kaylee Lema will also receive their first Senior Women’s National Team call up after having competed in the USA Netball U21 International Development Series in 2018 where Bermuda went undefeated.
