Bermudians Help Team Claim 7–0 Victory
Bermudian footballers Jah’Zion Taylor, Michael Madeiros, and Heris Ziai helped the St. Andrew’s College [SAC] men’s soccer team to a 7-0 victory over Upper Canada College [UCC] at Yuill Field.
The win was the team’s second of the week, improving its record to 5-0-0 in league play and maintaining its first-place standing in the CISAA Division 1.
After a save by goalkeeper Raistlan Evans on a point-blank shot, Taylor scored the first goal for St. Andrew’s College just before the half. The team went on to score six more goals, with two each from Jayden Walters and Jarel Ndombele, and one each from Josh Henriques and Luscien Yu.
