Tee Times For Local Championship Qualifier
The tee times have been confirmed for the Local Qualifier for the Butterfield Bermuda Championship, presented by BritRe, at the Port Royal Golf Course on Tuesday [October 7] and Wednesday [October 8].
The 36-hole competition offers Bermudian players a chance to claim one of three coveted exemption spots into Bermuda’s flagship PGA Tour event, the Butterfield Bermuda Championship, scheduled for November 13 to 16.
The field features several local players who have previously qualified for the main event such as Michael Sims, Eric West, Daniel Augustus and Dwayne Pearman.
Other notable names competing for another spot are Anthony Phipps, Camiko Smith, Chaka DeSilva, Damian Palanyandi, Jarryd Dillas, Kenneth Leseur, and Nick Jones.
The tournament is open exclusively to eligible Bermudian professionals and amateurs.
Smith, West and Jones were the qualifiers from last year’s event.
