Bermuda Pediatric Center Moves Location
The Bermuda Pediatric Center [BPC] is now located on the 1st floor of the Pearman Building, 3 Gorham Road, Hamilton, Located next to the Woodbourne Chemist pharmacy.
A spokesperson said, “New patients are encouraged to visit the new location and meet the team: Dr. Richard Fulton, Dr. Sylvanus Nawab, and Nurse Bernadette Wilson, who have over 60 years of combined experience in delivering premier pediatric care.
Service Offerings
“The Bermuda Pediatric Center provides a comprehensive range of services in one convenient location, designed to meet the healthcare needs of children and families. Services include:
- Primary Care: Routine check-ups, immunizations, and growth monitoring.
- Preventive Care: Nutrition counseling, mental health support, developmental screenings, and wellness programs.
- Urgent Care: Services for minor emergencies, flu shots, and after-hours care.
- Neonatal Care: Expertise in high-risk and premature birth management.
- Acute Care: Support for acute illnesses.

“New: Physiotherapy is now offered, providing assessment and ongoing treatment for conditions including, but not limited to:
- Cerebral Palsy and Neuromuscular Disorders
- Global Developmental Delay
- Spina Bifida
- Down Syndrome
- Orthopedic Injuries [fractures, post-surgical rehabilitation]
- Torticollis and Plagiocephaly
- Congenital Conditions
- Respiratory Conditions [ie., cystic fibrosis]
“Therapeutic goals often include improving posture, mobility, muscle tone, coordination, and overall function, using modalities such as neurodevelopmental therapy, sensory integration strategies, gait training, and therapeutic play.
“Services to be offered in due course:
- Specialty Care: Access to pediatric specialists in various fields, including cardiology, neurology, allergy, and dermatology.
- Therapies: Occupational therapy, speech therapy, and endocrinology.
“Additionally, the Bermuda Pediatric Center will offer educational workshops covering topics such as parenting classes, child development seminars, and first aid/CPR training for parents and caregivers.
“The Bermuda Pediatric Center will continue to engage overseas partners developed over 40 years, such as Boston Children’s Hospital, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, University of Toronto Sick Kids Hospital, and Nemours Children’s Hospital, among other tertiary pediatric centers.”
