Ministry Issues Three Road Traffic Notices
The Ministry of Public Works and Environment has issued three road traffic notices.
A Government spokesperson said, “The Ministry of Public Works and Environment wishes to inform the public of three upcoming traffic advisories that will affect the motoring public.
1. North Shore Road Lane Closure – 24 November to 12 December 2025 [PDF]
“A single-lane closure will take place on North Shore Road in Hamilton Parish near the Aquarium from Monday, 24 November to Friday, 12 December 2025. This closure is necessary to install a power cable for a new traffic signal at the crosswalk. Works will take place from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily. Traffic controls will be managed by Ascendant Technologies Ltd using stop-and-go signs and temporary signals.
2. Blackwatch Pass Road Closure – Saturdays, 22 November to 13 December 2025 [PDF]
“Blackwatch Pass in Pembroke Parish will be fully closed on Saturdays only from 22 November through 13 December 2025, between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. each day. This closure is required for vegetation clearance along the cliff top. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and use alternative routes such as Berkeley Road, Langton Hill, The Glebe Road, and Roberts Avenue.
3. Saltus Run/Walk – Sunday, 23 November 2025 [PDF]
“The Saltus Run/Walk will take place on Sunday, 23 November 2025, between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. The event will start and finish at the Saltus Campus Field on Woodlands Road. Although there will be no road closures, Police Officers and Race Marshals will be present to assist with traffic control, and motorists are urged to proceed with caution along the race route.”
