Thomas Cechini Wins Freestyle For Loyola
Thomas Cechini won the freestyle event while competing for the Loyola University Maryland Men’s Swimming and Diving team in exhibition events against Richmond.
Cechini won the Men’s 200 Yard Freestyle, finishing with a time of 1:43.35.
He also finished third in the Men’s 100 Yard Breaststroke, clocking a time of 1:00.14.
In relay events, Cechini swam the third leg for the Loyola University-MD C team in the 200 Yard Medley Relay, helping them finish fourth with a time of 1:32.89.
He also swam the second leg for the Loyola University-MD C team in the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay, which finished fifth with a time of 3:11.73.
