Bermuda Netball League Continues

Netball Bermuda League matches continued at Bernard Park with teams competing across the 13 & Under, 16 & Under, First, and Premier Divisions.

In the Premier Division, Storm Surge defeated Phoenix Heat 27-19. Kaamilah Nasir and Elishae Smith each scored 12 goals for Storm Surge, with Smith earning the MVP award. K’xiyane Gibbons led the scoring for Phoenix Heat with 16 goals and was named Best Attacker, while Jaya Dillas was named MVP.

Phoenix Flames defeated DC Diamonds 40-10 in the First Division. Kammie Mills scored 36 goals for the Flames to earn Best Attacker honors, and Uni Simmons was named MVP. Sioma Rudo scored 7 goals for DC Diamonds and was named both Best Attacker and MVP.

In the 16 & Under Division, Phoenix Fire recorded a 32-9 victory over Dandy Stars. Shiloh Simmons scored 20 goals for Phoenix Fire and was named Best Attacker, while Nyli Grant earned MVP. Jaeda Morgan-Dill scored 5 goals and Izzy Hassell added 4 for Dandy Stars. Naiah Raynor was recognized as the MVP and Best Defender for the Stars.

The match between Storm and North Village Lady Rams in the 16 & Under Division ended in a 16-16 draw. E’Rynn Paynter scored 13 goals for the Lady Rams and was named Best Attacker, while Kse Jennings earned MVP honors. Sah-Qurity Warner scored 11 goals and Diya Steede added 5 for Storm, with Vongai Benza named MVP.

In 13 & Under Division action, Storm Lightning defeated North Village Lady Rams 14-6. Sophia Odouri scored 9 goals and Eliana Trott added 5 for Storm Lightning. Odouri was named Best Attacker and Savana Hayward was named MVP. Taylor Kyme scored all 6 goals for the Lady Rams, while Adiah Jennings was named MVP.

Phoenix Embers defeated Storm Thunder 12-7 in the 13 & Under Division. Quin Burgess led the Embers with 10 goals and was named Best Attacker and MVP. Xela Hall scored 4 goals and Honor White scored 3 for Storm Thunder, with Tamirra Richardson taking the MVP award.

Scores were not officially recorded in the 10 & Under Division. The MVPs were Iyla Bascome for Phoenix Sparks, A’nylah Tucker for Dandy Stars, Kanji Armstrong for Storm, and Bry’li Scott for North Village Lady Rams.
