Mathematics Academy To Host Fractions Lecture
The Bermuda Mathematics Academy will host its second public lecture, “A Piece of Cake: Everything About Fractions,” on Saturday [Dec 6] from 3:00pm to 4:00pm.
A spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Mathematics Academy will be hosting its second public lecture ‘A Piece of Cake: Everything about Fractions’. In this lecture, we will be covering:
- Equivalent fractions and how to simplify and compare them
- Proper, improper, and mixed fractions and how to convert between each
- Adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing fractions
“This session is open to everyone. There will be interactive problems to try, so please bring something to write with!
- Date and Time: 6 Dec 2025 from 3 – 4 pm
- Entrance Fee: $20 [cash only]
