What a fine illustration of Bermuda demographics pictured there. Invitees carefully screened no doubt and paid for by the Bermuda taxpayer.

How many potholes could have been filled for the thousands this cost us?

  2. PAC MAN says:

The highest level of education offered in Bermuda is Public school .
if parents want or could afford a better education there is a price to pay at the private schools however there are limitations to to gain a profession in the professional world for that.

there is the preference and choice of U.K. Canada or the U.S.A. but not Bermuda the expense for that costs is in the hundreds of thousands.
How do i now all this i have been over there, not to mention the isolation, with many spending up to 6 year in isolation , i also know of the sacrifice my parent made for me and later.
    for my brother and sister.

for my part i was able to get temp. summer work in the U.K. to help reduce the expense. Regardless where ever you go there are multitude of restrictions.
Bermuda is an island with restrictions that is counter productive affecting the working class .

My parents were working class, no shame in that .

Bermuda’s administration is a member of that clan by not placing more value on this islands talented people,is that not the truth.

Bermuda will always be the island of NO !

We build airports not needed. We build hospitals not need. We build apartment blocks never wanted. We buy commuter boats, needed rarely. We buy over sized busses not needed . We cater to instant gratification , wanted but not needed. Potations want to house seniors in institutional buildings not practicle . There is more concrete on this island that was ever imaginable, more being built every day. Questionable ?

    Mr. Blooggs.
    ABILITY :
The fact remains that we will be plagued with poor uneducated decisions and suffer the un rewarding consequences .
We do not have to be brilliant to be smart ,we do not have to be smart to be intelligent, humans do not have to be intelligent have common sense with a little wisdom and with a life long meaning full experience helps.
A good memory always helps to remember always but the distant past but lost over time but fails to be consistent with the future, as time passes as memory fades while forgetfulness always lingers.

All being said and done keeping up with the times is important as a that becomes a fading experiences but not always necessary as the future becomes dependant on the past . we always for get pain with a vague recollection.

Ability will always find its way to the top of the list .
We must never forget that bright idea’s cost money .

You will get no argument from me about that statement. In fact, I would replace “will be” with “are”.

    • Question says:

How is Burt ‘supporting’ students in the UK, exactly?

They get free tuition provided by the UK government, I see that. But what is Burt doing that ‘supports’ them?
