Roche Bermuda has donated $10,000 to the Salvation Army’s annual Christmas Kettle Campaign.
A spokesperson said, “The Christmas Kettle Campaign plays a vital role in ensuring that individuals and families across the island have access to essential nutrition and care at a time when need is often greatest. Funds raised support the Salvation Army’s broader outreach efforts, including food assistance, shelter, addiction recovery programs, and community-based services.”
Ms. LaRondie Harrell, President of Roche Bermuda, said, “We are committed to supporting our community in meaningful and practical ways. This donation reflects our values of compassion and care. The Salvation Army’s feeding programs help ensure that no one is left behind, particularly during a season that should be marked by dignity, warmth, and hope.”
The spokesperson said, “Through its partnership with the Salvation Army, Roche Bermuda is helping to address food insecurity while reinforcing a shared commitment to uplifting Bermuda’s most vulnerable populations.”
Captain Alfred Esdaille, Area Commander of the Salvation Army Bermuda, said, “We are deeply grateful for Roche Bermuda’s ongoing partnership. For many in our community, the Christmas season has shifted from a time of celebration to a time of survival. Support like this is more important now than ever, and it makes a tangible difference in people’s lives.”
